Have you ever seen this self? They are like 400 dollars and really don't hold that much for the cost. So I said to myself I could make one that would hold more and be cheaper. So here are some pictures of that.

Sarah was a big help on day on of this project. You can see she learned how to use the Chop saw. The next picture sows the beginning of the back frame.

Here is the completed shelves, we emptied our whole food storage on the selves and found out there is still a ton of space. Total cost of the project was just under 150.

I has some left over wood so I made a self under the hanging shelves I previously made. It may look like I am collecting cardboard, but we know will likely move again and there is no sense in throwing it away, I just wanted it out of the ways so I built the hanging shelf. You can see I just need to finish organizing and we will be good to go.

I want to tell the story of the traveling recliner. While growing up we had the opportunity to live with my paternal grandparents while our new house was being built. It was really cramped, 6 of us in a basement with two rooms. So my parents were in one and us children were in the other. I have to say I really enjoyed the time living there, I remember my sisters almost in tears when my parents told us it was time to move out. This is all side information back to the real story. I am the happy owner of an old 1970's chair and foot rest, its a cool orange!

I really like, Sarah thinks it ugly... So this rocker and foot stool ended up in the my parents basement as my Grandma moved to UT. When I move to Washington I was given the honor to be the owner. I think what Sarah doesn't understand about this chair and foot stool as its amazing abilities to save time. One of its great skills is vacuuming. In the basement you see we had golden shag carpet, which on occasion my sister had to vacuum. They found that if you flipped the foot stool ups side down you could drag it over the carpet, and there you had it all the shag laid in the same direction and you a perfectly vacuumed floor, good enough even to fool Mom.

Now I don't want to give away all the super powers of this chair and foot stool, because then someone might still it (and then I would have to go it back from good will). So you will just have to wonder about the rest....

Great trip

Sarah and I had a great to trip this Christmas time. We were able to go from WA to NY, to see my sisters Seleta and Nicolette and their husbands and childrens. (Yes, I said childrens, that's child plural). We were able to stay there about a week. It was a wonderful time. I thought I would share some pictures of the trip. Our first day there my sister sent us out into the country side to see some church history sites; the Smith farm, Sacred Grove, and the Book of Mormon first edition printing location. I just thought I would add some more random pictures from the last few months. These are some fun ones. They are a fun picture of a flower I took, pictures of Sarah playing with a frog or two on our trip to Levenworth, and Sarah at the fish hatchery. Sarah really enjoyed it, I had been before, and it was the same as most others, but it was fun none the less. The other photos are from other trips, and a picture of my office door. Last few weeks

So a few weeks ago we went on a boat ride with a couple we know from our ward it was quite fun. Sarah Loved it and was in heaven. Next you will see our pictures from the Prosser Balloon rally. Jackie and Becky were here for a concert and as you can see they loved it. I did have to push them out out of bed at 5:30am but once they got there they forgave me. We then went on another boat ride with the same couple, Sarah asked them to take us with her family because she loved it so much. So there you go.

big project

I had some time while Sarah was out, so I decided to clean out the closet, something that Sarah had wanted for a while. I had to work and only had three days to do it. I worked those three nights till 2-3 in the morning. Here are some pictures, they may be a little out of order so read the comments below each one:

This is the start of the closet, It was full of "stuff"

As I started the project I realized I needed somewhere to put the stuff, or rather organize it because I was going to change the contents of the closet. This was the space in our garage that was selected for transformation.

With any good project I need wood, So I loaded more wood than should fit in a Malibu in a Malibu

Here you can see it through the window.

The space selected in the garage was full of moving boxes, that needed a new home. So if you give a mouse a cookie he will want milk. In this case I built more hanging storage space for the boxes, so I had room for the stuff, so I could clean the closet. You get the idea..

This is me cutting wood with a saw Sarah let me get for Fathers day.

This is one of my first competed shelfs for the closet, you will see how they go in a minuet. I had to work on the selves early because it got dark quick (about 9:30) and then I had to work on the inside.

As you can see the stuff in the closet soon filled the hall.

This is the closet 3/4 empty with a separate book self in that I built. There was still a bunch of work to do at this point.

Here is some of the books unloaded. This part was time consuming, but most of the space in the closet was book boxes that Sarah had that she wanted to read, but could not because she couldn't get to them. So I built book selves and made a mini library.

I did empty about 25 boxes. This felt good, rather than just moving junk around I got rid of some!

A great blessing came out of no where, my bishop son who lives about 50 yards from us came down to see what I was doing, then helped me finish the project. The selves weigh about 200 lbs so help was nice!! Now he is on his mission, (thanks elder brame)

So that was my project. I took more photos but this pretty much summarized it. Here what I learned. Things always take twice as much time than you thought, and building shelves cleaning the garage and reorganizing is hard work. All in all I counted that I had to take 38 loads down the stairs to the garage. That was a lot of moving!

Long time ago

So some time ago I built this jewel box for Sarah I think it turn out pretty good. There are a few things I would do different if I did it again, but I thought I would at least share some pictures.

The left door has foam blocks to put pins in and two little boxes.

The right door has earring hooks. This took me a long time to think through, specifically I had not thought of using brass until I was in the store and saw little pieces of it. Then I stood there and looked at if for a good 15 min, trying to think how it may work. Here is a big picture of it. I would add more slots if I did it again, most of her earrings don't need this much space.

It also photographed well, which is nice. I think my only problem is it is too heavy close to 40 lbs if I had to guess, not a problem if you put in into two studs but hard to move. I think maybe some day I should make these and sell them, it would be a fun hobby.

Trip to Moscow

Last weekend we ran to Moscow to see my Mother Father and little brother. It was a fun trip and we just really enjoyed each others company. While there we stayed at a fun bed and breakfast. It was quite fun, and Sarah really like it. We also visited a huge garden and I thought I would post some pictures of that.

Savior of the World.

So we are now through the first week of performances for the production Sarah is directing and I am helping on. My role is to help in the sound booth and fill in for any males who don't have an understudy that get sick or can come to perform. So far I have filled in 3 times. I will post more photos of the show but just wanted to put one other there that is fabulous. Also if anyone wants to come see and will be in the Tri Cities WA area, we run this week Tuesday- Saturday. I would be happy to help you get tickets, although the show is sold out we have added a few more seats. So now for the picture. (the production photographer took this photo, and if anyone else wants rights to it I can get them)

A while ago the Provo Tabernacle burned down, it was sad to lose such a historic building. The reason I am writing this is that there some pictures that were saved did not burn all the way. I wanted to pass them along, I was very touched when I saw them.

Scout Cake & Savior of the World

So Sarah and I have been fairly busy with a production our stake is putting on called Savior of the world. It was the one originated in salt lake about 10 years ago. Sarah was called to be one of the directors back in October. I was called to be the assistant to the directors, which no one was really sure what what I should do as an assistant "to" the directors. It was eventually decided that I am the understudy for just about all the mail rolls. The have understudies for the big roles, but they are from some of the other bigger roles, but most of those people already have parts in the play, so I would step into their previous roll. It has been fun so far just taken a lot of time. We have rehearsal tuesday wednesday thursday saturday and sunday. In march we add friday, so sarah is running running running. I also am still in the young men as well as taking some online classes so I am a little busy as well. You can read our last news letter if you would like, here.

Now as for the cake, being in the young mens group I also get to do scouting, well for this years awards dinner we had a cake decorating contest. Sarah and I have watched a few episodes of cake boss, so I though that isn't that hard I can do that. So here is our try at making a really cool cake.

We started last sunday making some people out of starbursts. Here is a canoe and bear Sarah made & a tent I made.

We baked the cake its self on Tuesday and then on Wednesday we made the chocolate frosting. Here is how the cake went together.

We first figured out how we wanted the two layers.

I frosted the bottom layer.

Then added strawberry.

I added the next layer and then frosted it.

I then laid over some fondant that we made on tuesday. I forgot to mention that, I found a really easy way to make it on line. It was a little messy but very easy. I just had to dye it before I laid it on.

I then added the river section of the cake, after all this was scout cake.

Here I have added all the fondant and cut out letters. I took the theme from a scout camp theme when I worked there. "learn it love it live it"

As you can see I made a big mess, So I cleaned it up and waited for sarah to come home so we could finish.

When Sarah came home we added the our characters and Sarah iced around the edges. I think it turns out pretty nice. Making a cake was both easier and harder than I expected. If anyone wants a cake made I would be happy to do it, but I can't promise perfection. Everything on the cake was eatable but the fishing pole and some supports in the tent. So that is my cake story. (in case your wondering that why the Kayak is upside down, I have friend that goes boating with me and he has an orange kayak. I put him upside down trying to roll up as a joke, he though it was pretty funny.)

Thanks at Thanksgiving for the Lord Jesus Christ

I wanted to at this thanksgiving time give thanks something I feel I am not grateful enough for and that is the Savior. I want to share with those that may read my blog some of my feelings on Jesus Christ, things that are deeply personal to me and I feel appropriate to share this time of year. The words of a hymn echo in my mind, "Oh it is wonderful that he should care for us enough to die for us, oh it is wonderful, wonderful to me." I am so thankful for the Saviors love and that care enough to pay for my sins. That when I make a mistake, sometimes over and over, that through repentance I can have those feelings of guilt taken away, and be forgiven of my sins.

I am thankful for the knowledge that when I am having a tough day or week that the Savior Jesus Christ, did in dead feel what I am going through. I love the Savior and want to be more like him. I was recently reading a talk by a living apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ and I would like to quote him for a minute, "Indeed the Atonement of the Only Begotten Son of God in the flesh is the crucial foundation upon which all Christian doctrine rests and the greatest expression of divine love this world has ever been given. Its importance in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints cannot be overstated. Every other principle, commandment, and virtue of the restored gospel draws its significance from this pivotal event." (here is the rest of the talk)

In conclusion, I want to share with those who my read my blog that I know that the Savior lives, He loves us, and if we would only believe in him we can grow to know him. I give thanks for these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

So I had the opportunity of going to what my company calls MedMan U. It was a great week of learning and finding new ways to make the clinic work great! I took some photos and thought I would share. Here are some of my favorite photos and a slide show. A few of them are a little bleary because I was keeping the shutter open longer to capture more light, and i didn't have tripod.

Fun Saturday

So Sarah and i went to the prosser balloon rally yesterday. In all there were 22 some odd balloons. We had to get up very early and we both were glad we did afterwards because it was a fun morning. Here are a few pictures we took. Sarah took the second one and i took the rest, less those we were in. To see all the pictures we took click here.

After the balloons i stayed around for the festival and sarah went to class. I also took the opportunity to ride one of my doctors horses. She was fun to ride but hasn't been ridden that often and was a little stubborn. (I would be too if i had someone on my back.) We rode for about 45 min, till she knew i was the boss and then i brushed her down and put her away. It was fun to ride because i haven't done it much in recent while.

It has been a few weeks so I wanted to catch things up a bit. We have had several visitors the last few weeks. Below are some pictures of Joseph and Mom feeding the ducks. The first night joseph tried to feed them rocks, they didn't like that. When we came back with bread the next day he was their best friend.

We has some plums and pears that we wanted to preserve so we cut them up and dried them. It kind of looks like swedish fish on the tray.

Last weekend sarah and i went on a camp-out adventure. On our way there we stopped into a little mexican grocery store. It was funny to see they had pictures of the cow you were buying. It kind of made me laugh.

deschutes

So we went to the deschutes river yesterday and had a great time. Its a 14 mile stretch of class 2, 3, and 4 rapids. Sarah was brave on her sit on top. I watch one wave take her off back wards. Here are some photos and a short video

Hoover Dam

I got to go the hoover dam yesterday. It was way fun because my company presidents cousin works there so we go the private tour. I have pictures of the trail we walked on going there that looks over lake mead. I was on a the trail where they used to have a rail road to move stuff to the dam. we walked through tunnels that you will see on the pictures, they were really neat. One part i really like was floors in the dam. I took a few pictures as you will see. They are all granite pieces that two Italian guy put in when the dam was being built. I was surprised to learn the dam only cost 49 million to build. But that was in the 1930's. I also have a few pictures of the bypass highway bridge that is being built. It is really big. Hope you enjoy the pics.

so i was in desperate need of a hair cut. Just before i cut it (i like to cut my own) Sarah said, don't give yourself a mullet. She said it wouldn't look good on me. With that introduction i give you my new hair cut.

project for my mother

i worked on a project for my mother and i thought i would share, i am getting a little better with photo shop. I also made this page heading for my wife's music studio, that she can use on stationary and such. (For legal purposes i don't claim any rights on these photos and although i did change them more than required by the laws i have read, one of the images used was not open source photo, so i only used part of it. And i have not sold or profited from them in anyway)

Funny crossword

So for this online class I am taking i have to do some crossword puzzles. I am not good at these things and would take a word search or writing a paper over these things. I did find a good help though, even though as you see it dosen't work that good. At dictionary.com you can enter the clue and how many letters long it is and it gives you possible answers. When i saw this answer i laughed rather hard. Check out this clue and the first possible word be low the add.

Can you believe that, Taxes, how is that needed for life. It made me laugh either way.

So i guess i am getting good at making these slide show things, it seems to be quicker at least for me. So i thought i would write a run down of whats in this show. First are some pictures of the light parade sarah and i were in for lions club. Next is some pictures of our christmas eve and acting out the nativity. Sarah was an angel, literally and figuratively. And you may see some pictures of our friends. He was just called to be our new bishop. Next is christmas day, and we had a really good one! After that are two pictures of us geocaching. I got sarah a gps in hopes that she would first go geo caching with me and second let me use it on occasion. So far both have proved to be true. So thats an update. PS i don't know if you like my new back ground or not but, i made it out of a picture i took, i kind of like it.

I haven't written in a very long time, so I thought I would play a little catch up. Things are going well. I was called in the young mens presidency in are ward, (sarah was called in the young womens) and we were called to work as temple workers. We really enjoy it. Sarah and I had a really nice christmas, we didn't go back to idaho, so it was just us. We spent time with another family from our ward. We missed not being with family, but well be back some day. I always thought it would be fun for go geo catching, so I searched for several months and finally found a deal on ebay, and got a gps, that i gave to sarah for christmas. We went yesterday, and had so much fun. We found two catches, but we couldn't find the third one we looked for, we think someone may have taken it. I will post pictures later. Today I would like to pull the those who are reading this about my new blog design. I have found out about photoshop for mac and have had some fun. The background comes from a picture i took in McCall. My question is which banner do you like better, the one that currently there, or this one?

So i haven't written for a month. Things have become a little crazy but i have some pictures to show for it. At work the manager of the surgery center left for a new job, so it left me to manage it as well as the clinic. It has kept me pretty busy, good news is that i am really only in charge for a week and a few days. It can be a little challenging due to the fact there 25 miles apart. So it puts me on my motorcycle quite a bit. In two months i have put almost 5000 miles on my bike. They have a biker association called the "iron butt" I see where the name comes from. To join it you have to ride one of their certified rides, the shortest of which is called Saddle Sore, its 1000 miles in 24 hours. So now a little about the pictures you are seeing. This had pictures from Sarah's graduation. Someone backed into my jeep and took out the tail light while sarah was at an appointment. The pictures so a before and after of the repair job. Sarah kissing some animals (oh dear or Oh DEER). A trip to a national forest where we saw petrified wood. They also had some indian paintings on the rocks. pictures from our trip back to idaho (people grand teton, jackson, others). And pictures from our float in the parade, my car, for my work and the both for the day in the park. And last but not least pictures from the temple. We went yesterday.

So i had a tennis districts for my team in Boise. It went fairly well, it was just hot! about a 105 outside and that makes it up to 120 on the court. So it was fun Here are some pictures. On a side note i finally received my diploma in the mail, there is a picture of that as well. Some of the pictures are of the sunset we had on the way back. It was way pretty. So here you go!

So I moved to Richland WA. So far things see nice so let me get everyone up to date. So before we moved we had two family reunions one on Sarahs side and one on mine. I don't have any pictures from Sarahs but here are some pictures of swan valley and us;

The night before we left we had a fun night at Daniel's House with the call bunch for Anna's 16th birthday, here are some pictures of my nephews and nice sitting on my motorcycle;

So next came the move to WA, We rented a really really big truck and with some assistance from the ward members (i.e. stewart north and his big guns) and some family members (i.e. Anna call and her little guns) we loaded the truck. Then my mother and I took off into the wide open road. Here is a picture of the truck when we stopped at a truck stop and a house move in next to us.

SO now we made it to richland i will fill you in on some stuff here. First our house.

So now for the the job. Its not without challenges, I have a big list of goals they want me to accomplish, and i tell you what it is different working with all women, except the doctor. at ATT we were all guys except two females, no that has flipped all females except 3 males. The staff is good though. Here is my clinic.
Here is the out side. It was built in 2002 so it fairly new, but it has it limitations, we lack and x-ray machine and space.
This is Cindy with one of our patients, She has worked ate the clinic as she puts it "longer then i have been alive" which is true she started 26 years ago. She does a great job for us!
Here is our check in counter. The build as a whole has a nice feel.

SO heres the real question why did they hire a brand new grad to run a practice. It had some to do with my experience at att, and the other pice of the puzzle is that i was willing to come to benton city, its kind of a, well how do i say this, "homegrown" or "homely" but most of the people are really nice. and it seems like the really appreciate having the clinic here.

So now more for the area let me talk you into coming to visit us here in the TRI CITYS....

First we have exotic food like killer water mellon, I made this up the other night. It fun to have food so wild.
We have nice parks with paved bike trails and walking trails, this was when sarah and i went to the park last week.

Update

So i haven't written for some time and i thought i would give an update on life. After school ended I had a company tell me to apply for a job, so i put in my application. To make a long story short I was offered a job as the administrator of a clinic in benton city wa. So Sarah and I will be moving there as soon as as our house sells. We are very excited its a great job with a great company, We are excited to have such a great opportunity come to us, we know some one on the other side has been preparing the way for this to happen, because everything has just seemed to fall in place. Trip to Utah

So this week AT&T sent me to Utah for a training on how to coach people better. It was quite good, but there were a few highlights i would like to share and then show some pictures that turned out to be pretty funny. So after lunch on the first day i was tired, and was fighting to keep my eyes open. Well as it would be, i decided to rest my eyes for a few seconds, I am not sure how much time passed by, but then i was awoken by the instructor who had asked me a question. Did i know what the question was, no, did i even know what the topic was, no. all i know is she had two boxes on the board, so i did what any person who has worked at at&t would do i said "iphone" and then she said "how is that a problem" I then said "sometimes our sales reps don't highlight all it can do. She said that was a great response. I am still not sure what we were talking about. It was quite funny. Now for some pictures. These first two are of sarah and I at a restaurant we ate that had a old water wheel.

These next three tell a story of their own and for my protection (j/k) i will let you figure out what was going on.

New back ground

So I have thought that is should be more diligent in blogging as the 6 people that read this twice a year may find it boring. So to start I thought i would give my blog a new back ground. As I have seen some other peoples blogs i have seen they have gotten backgrounds from "the cuties blog ever" I ran a quick google and that was really the only site i could find. As I perused through the options I became a little bewildered as everyone of the blogs background was so girly, I thought I don't want my blog to be covered in hearts and flowers. Where are the masculine blog backgrounds? Here is one sample of what i was running into.

I then found the side bar that allowed you to sort by categories, and saw the category of sports, and thought here we go no more flowers and hearts. Here are the backgrounds i found.

Now i was like wow, maybe if i was a soccer mom that would be nice, So looked over the categories again and found one titled camo, I thought now here we go, i can do a paintball theme, yeah! Heres what that one looked like.

So to make a long story short I found one with dirt on it and said this is a start but i still don't like it. As i was posting the background into my blog i noticed that in the html string the were just importing a picture from photo bucket. Then the light bulb turned on, so i Jump over to photo bucket and picked up one of the links from a picture i had previously imported. For those who don't know photo bucket assigns a html link to each picture when you import it so you can link it in emails and slide shows or in html content. Once again to shorten the story, I replaced the string Http://i338.photobucket....jpeg with mine and here we go, a picture i took while sarah and i were in mexico. I still haven not figured out how to get ride of the cuties backgrounds logo, so i will update you when i figure it out. I am kind of new to the html content thing so it might take a while. anywho there you go, a non flower/heartys twirly blog.

Not much to write

Well i am going to try to write a little more often but at times i don't know what to write about. So today i will write about my favorite knot. Guess what it is used for, boating/canoeing. I found this know effective because it never comes undone to let you boat float across the lake, but when you ready to go you just pull on the other end and the knot is free. The knot is really just a fancy slip knot. To start you rap the rope around what your going to tie it to. then take the free end ( not connected to the boat) and make a loop or circle with the free end down, pull the tied end through to make a loop, and then take the free end through that loop in loop fashion. Now if your really confused you can look at the picture.

Now you have a great knot that won't slip or let go till you want it to.

This week our ward had a trip to the Twin Falls temple. It was a pretty good trip. We left saturday morning at 6 am so it was fairly early. We also rode a school bus there which had almost no shocks so it made for a really bumpy ride, but the temple was very pretty. so here are some picts.

SO i have not really blogged about anything for a while. so here is an update. A few weeks ago i had a tennis tournment in bosie and it went well, but i did manage to break my strings, which happens on a regular basis for me. The good new was i had my spare racket there. I ended up winning 2 out of my 3 matches, which i don't think is too bad because the best people at my level were there. So life has been very busy as of late, but i like it that way so that has been good. My new job at work as assistant manager has gone well for the most part, i have to deal with alot of the escalated costumers, the good news a is there are very few that get really made, but yesterday i had a guy tell me he was going to sue me because his phone didn't work in some cave that he is working in. I asked him if any ones phone worked and he told me no it didn't because they were underground. Any who that makes the day kind of interesting. Last night it rain for the first time in a long time and there was a full rain bow, not just half like normal. I tried to take a picture but it was too big, but heres my best shot.
any who i better run off and get ready for work, it should be a great day, because i have saturday off so i am getting excited for a break.

So the other day we bought Chinese food for the whole store, it was fun. They sent us a bunch of fortune cookies so i decided i would save them and look at a fortune each day. This is where the story gets funny, i got the same fortune 3 days in a row so i thought i better take a picture of the two that i had saved. Too bad i through the third one away. Moms Tennis Match

I went to moms tennis match yesterday, it was fun. Mom play really well and was able to defeat her opponent 6-3 6-0. GOOD JOB MOM. On the tennis note, i won both of my matches this week and the singles match i won 6-1 6-2. So it was a good tennis week.

Well the yesterday I was at work and was a little hungry, so i thought i would put my george forman grill to the test. Normally you just grill meat on it, but i decided that i wanted hash browns and toast, so i made hash browns and toast, they turned out pretty good. See for yourself, I thought it was really good! I know all the food was the same color so it wasn't that attractive of a meal, but i added the salsa to make it look better.

So Tyson just came back from Provo and he brought with him a big flat screen monitor that he was using at school. So we decided to hook it up to the family computer. We then took joseph to go see and he was so excited, then he said "Does this one have nick junior on it?" I told him that it doesn't. He then told me i needed to go to google and find it for him. I then asked him what google is, and he goes it where you find stuff. It was funny to have a 4 year old telling me that i needed to go to google.

So last night I watched the movie August Rush with my mother and father it was pretty good, I don't think the end of the movie did it justice. So then after that I was fairly tired so I followed up on some emails and the went to bed. About 2 in the morning my phone starts ringing, which at the time I was having a crazy dream about being on the river. So when my phone started ringing It kind of one of those crazy half awake asleep minute and since i recently change my ring tone to a crazy John Denver song I was equally confused. When i finally realized it was my phone ringing and not some guy in my dream the phone call was over. Then their was an immediate voice mail left, and so i called an checked it. It was Sergeant Manning of the Pocatello Police Department (my uncle, but it sounds more official if i don't say that) looking for Judge Murray. So I called him back and he asked me if i was at home and if my dad was their. I am not sure why they called me instead of the home phone, but hey it gave me the opportunity to write about a semi funny experience and being a police informant. If i disappear suddenly i have gone into witness protection. j/k

So I don't have anything too exciting to write about, life has been pretty good in the last few weeks. Time just keeps ticking along. I took my second to last final today and it went really well. It was so long, and very tiresome. But it is done. So I just have one more left and that is great! Next semester is panning out to be a good one, I am looking forward to working with the SAHCA group, that i am president of and am in the process of setting goals of what we want to accomplish. My ultimate goal is to grow the group and make it meaningful for the members. It should be really fun.

So I had a pretty good week. It was officially announced i was elected president of SAHCA, our student chapter of a professional group. I am excited to put together some activities and make the group really meaningful.

So on another note, work was kind of slow today so we decided to play a joke on my co worker bruce. We took on of the phone alarms (that sound when they are taken off the phone to deter theft) and wired it inside of his cash drawer so when it opens it goes off. It was pretty funny. Nicolette, my friend Lacy, and I went to the 5 am session today, it was really fun, and I can't believe it snowed on the 16th of april, but it made the temple really beautiful with a nice white blanket of snow. These are pictures just as we were leaving as the sun was just peaking over to light up the temple. So now I am at work and I need to get started, write again soon!

I thought I would write a short note about a really neat experience that I had while working during conference. So I took my laptop to work and set it up to watch conference when we were slow. Even bruce (one of my coworkers) watch a talk with us. During the Saturday afternoon session I asked my coworkers to sing the rest hymn with me, and there not the best singers so we didn't sound amazing, but it was fun to sing with my coworkers. Right after the hymn finished we had a nice lady come into the store who comes in on a regular bases when she cannot understand how to work her phone. She stated when she walked in "it so peaceful in here today, I have never seen it like this." I replied that it was because we were watching conference. It was a good testimony builder of how the spirit can be brought in by music even if not sung well:). And Conference has an amazing spirit.

I just thought i would record a little about Christmas and write about a funny lady i talk to at work today. Christmas was great!!!! I had a great time caroling and the part that was really fun was the day after a family that we caroled to came in to work. They explained how we made their (i before e except in the word their) Christmas season, they felt a little down this year because none of their family was able to come home for the holidays. It was fun to see that although we were having a good time we did have a little impact for good on someones holiday season. New years eve was fun as well. We went to the Manning's home. The nativity was really fun, Grandpa Murray told the story from an old video and the kids put the nativity characters up on a flannel board, just as we were doing in the video of a year past. Then later that night I had the privilege of going to the Furness home and play games with Dannel. It was fun, even though we didn't win. Christmas day was good to see how excited Jose was Christmas. I think i am kind of like a big little kid when it comes to Christmas because i was really excited too. Then Christmas afternoon and evening i spent with Dannel and her family. It was fun, we watched transformers, which is a pretty cool movie, and played games. So that funny lady... (ellipsis) came into the store an couldn't get her phone on, so i helped her and then we sat and chatted for about two hours. She told me all about her mom and her travels. Her mom is 93 and, as she put it, a little stuck in her ways sometimes. What i thought was interesting was her vocabulary that she used. One of the words she used that i took time to write down is fastidious. Look it up, its a good one. Well i better end this before i ramble too long, so to the three people that read this (if you count me twice) happy new years!!!!
