"my mother thats who i need"

I thought with the upcoming holiday, I would write and share a few reasons why I think I have one of the best mothers in the world. Now in the effort of fully disclose I might have a small bias.
First the funny part...My mother is the lady who I would go to lunch with and always watch guys hit on here. We went skiing once and the guy at the lift said I had one foxy lady with me. She has worked hard to stay young, but I think she has found the fountain of youth, all you need is 8 year old running around...  The picture above is my mother at 16 as a queen of the dance.

My mother is one of those people who can just sit in the grass and and enjoy a day, but not one to shy away from getting her boots dirty...

She is a mother who always knew what to do, my guess is she did make a mistake once but it was on my sister...she was the first born child ...  but I am pretty sure it was just one mistake...
My mom is also a great shopper.  She was able to buy a magic refrigerator.  If you look in it three times in between looking in the cupboard food magically appears.  Its amazing.
I just want my mom to know what a great person she is, and tell her thanks for sacrificing everything for her children.  I am so grateful.  The last part I want to share is an experience I had on my mission.  I had been out about 3 months and was having a rather tough time learning spanish.  It was a particularly tough day we went on exchanges and I ended up with a mexican from the ward that spoke no english and I was supposed to go see this family, however I could not even give directions to get there and he didn't know where the address was.  Eventually we go there and watch a movie about finding faith, and then we left.  I felt useless, all I could do is press play on a vcr.  So when I cam home that night I had a letter in the mail box and it was from none other than my mom.  She wrote the same letter to all of her children where she shared her testimony of Christ and told us all to have faith and it would work out.  She offered each of words of encouragement in our current endeavors.  This letter boasted my spirit and gave me the strength to keep going.

Thanks Mom for all that you do!

On a last and final note, I found a site that help me calculate a monetary repayment for the labor it took to birth me.  So here it is...

Here is another fond memory.

Love you Mom, happy mothers day.
